AFTER MAY IS OUT NOW!
Featuring quirky illustrative language and dynamic vocal performance, Ronni Mardor is a theatrical folk pop American-Israeli songwriter.
Following two years in the Israeli Defence Forces, a solo-backpacking journey to India and Japan gave her a whole new approach to life in general and music in particular.
Born and raised in Israel, at 22 Ronni made the decision to move to one of the world’s biggest music & culture capitals – London, UK. The O2 Academy Islington, Paper Dress Vintage, Nambucca, and Acklam Village Market are only a few of London's top venues where Ronni performed at in the last 4 years, while studying music at ICMP. Ronni went on her first international tour in April 2019, in which she performed around southern Italy with Mauro Massari. This collaboration lead to their second tour together, ‘Sad Songs Comedy’, that took place in July 2019.
Ronni’s debut single ‘After May’, produced by Kostas Georgiadis, is an honest, quirky and vibrant song, which joyfully presents what happens when love, theatre and reality meet. The lyrical dissonance with the ongoing hinted smile creates engagement and light-hearted satisfaction, while discussing the painful matter of heartbreak.
These days Ronni lives in LA and performs with a new set, containing materials for her upcoming singles. In addition, Ronni is the co-founder and a composer at ‘KOR MUSIC’, a music composition collective for visual media.
